Finally as dusk was settling upon the mountain the brave king and queen reached their destination, THE ABANDONED CASTLE. And it certainly was abandoned. They had to dig through a foot of snow to uncover the door. But when they opened it up to their surprise it was fully stocked with lanterns, propane, bedrolls with sleeping bags, and even wood for the stove! They spent a cozy, toasty night and headed out the next morning.
