Rollin' rollin' rollin' 2

So when we were engaged, I bought Bryce roller blades. They didn't fit, so we gave them to my brother. For his birthday this year, I tried once again and bought him (Bryce) roller blades. They didn't fit so we returned them for in-store credit. While "garage-selling" yesterday, we found roller blades AGAIN, that were graciously sold to us for five buckaroos. What do you know? They fit. So we had to try them out last night. We put D in the stroller, walked up to the park, laced up our wheels...(My "wheels" are roller skates. I've never tried roller blades and frankly they scare me. Especially when I'm skating around a duck pond and I could possible end up in the not very clean water...) And to the delight of everyone at the park, we embarked on a wild adventure. My remarks to the many spectators went something like this: "When was the last time you braved roller skates?" and "Watch out!!!" etc. After four successful rounds of the duck pond, we decided that was a good first experience, unlaced our boots, and sauntered on home, feeling quite sure that we soon would appreciate a different range of muscles.

That's so fun! You almost make me want to break out the old skates :)
