I am a sub! Valiant and courageous me? My first adventures started this week in kindergarten. It was their first week of school. I was their sub on the second day of school.
- One little girl came up to me, pointed at another little girl and said, "She is my best friend." My reply, "That's wonderful." Her response, "What is her name again?"
-I never knew that walking in a straight line could be so challenging.
-The vice principal came in on my second morning and asked if she could change my morning plans and practice going through the lunch line, holding the tray, grabbing milk, holding lunch cards, and sitting down at the appropriate table.
-Cutting in a straight line and learning how to hold scissors
-I don't know the last time I saw so many smiles in one classroom.

Kindergarten used to be very favorite to sub for, but then I got pregnant and I didn't have enough energy to keep up with them. I just love how much they love you, no matter what. It's great to feel that!
I just subbed a first grade yesterday and this little boy comes up to me and says "Um, I don't mean to be rude, okay? I just wondered if your baking a baby in there"-as he points to my stomach.
So cute!!!
